The Galax City Public Schools Special Education Advisory Committee will meet on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 12 noon at the Galax Recreation Center third floor conference room. This meeting is open to the public.  The 2018-19 Local Special Education Annual Plan/Part B Flow-Through Application and Report will be reviewed. The plan is on public display at the School Board Office. If you have any questions or comments, contact Dr. Frances Turpin at 276-236- 2911.

Any person interested in purchasing extra pieces of the turf field may do so by contacting Aaron Horton at 276-236-2991.  The price of the turf is 50 cents per sqare foot.  Purchases may be made until February 9, 2018.

Black History Month Lessons:  Grades K-5,   Grades 6-8Grades 9-12

Registration for 4 year old Pre K classes will be held on February 5th - 16th.  Please call Galax Elementary School at 276-236-6159 to schedule an appointment.  Pre-school classes are open and free of charge to any Galax City residents.
