Mr. Ronald Mankins

Ronald Mankins is a lifelong resident of Carroll County and currently resides with his wife (Angela) and son (Hunter) in his hometown of Cana. Ronald graduated from Carroll County High School in 1997 and earned a Bachelor’s of Art in Finance and Economics from King College in 2001. After a brief stint in the banking field, Ronald decided that his interests lie in working with today’s youth.

Ronald’s first three years of public education were in Carroll County where he worked to achieve certification in business education. After transferring over to Galax City Schools in 2005, Ronald pursued an additional degree and received his Masters of Science in Education in December of 2008.

Ronald currently works with fifth and seventh grade students and enjoys the pace and flow of the middle school. His favorite aspect of teaching is watching students gain the confidence to accomplish things they never realized they had the ability to do.
