Since beginning her teaching career she has taken additional classes from Emory and Henry College, James Madison University, and George Mason University. She is currently enrolled as a student at Longwood University where she is working towards a Master’s Degree as a Math Specialist.

“I enjoy learning about math and working math problems. I want to share my enthusiasm for math with the students and teachers at Galax Elementary School. I want them to understand that math is a very hands-on subject in which students learn to make sense of problems and situations.”
