She later accepted a position with Galax City Public Schools where she served as the Early Intervention Reading teacher and Reading Specialist. “Working within the Galax City Public School system is such a rewarding experience. The opportunities to learn, grow, and develop professionally are abundant. Each day finds me surrounded by caring colleagues, strong leadership, dedicated parents, and most especially truly remarkable children.  I sincerely enjoy the challenges of education and the opportunities I have had to make learning happen for students.  I feel so blessed to be part of such a great system!”
