Mr. Robinson grew up in Northern Virginia and graduated from Park View High School in 1979. He went on to study at the Word of Life Bible Institute in Schroon Lake, New York where he earned a certificate in biblical studies in 1980. Mr. Robinson continued his education at Liberty University and graduated in 1985 with a degree in elementary education. Since beginning his teaching career he has completed coursework in science and mathematics at Bluefield College, Emory & Henry College, the University of Virginia, and Virginia Tech.

Mr. Robinson began his teaching career at Emmanuel Christian School in Manassas, Virginia where he taught 5th and 6th grades for four years. In 1990, he moved to Galax where he taught fourth and fifth grades until he moved with the fifth grade to Galax Middle School in 2000. Mr. Robinson has taught fifth grade science from 2000 to the present.

“I’ve always enjoyed working with students in the middle grades, and I especially enjoy teaching and learning science with them. Their enthusiasm for scientific investigation is a joy.”
